Cars aren’t the only vehicles that get all the fun. Our expert installation team can tackle just about any size and shape of vehicle from bus to camper.

A major player in vehicle wrap installation is the vinyl quality. Before a wrap job can begin, it is crucial that the client and printer choose the right substrate for the job. If you want the wrap to last 8-10+ years, there’s a vinyl for that. If you want carbon fiber accents for your new car, there’s a vinyl for that. You get the picture.

Once the design has been approved, the vinyl has been chosen and printed, then begins the installation. Depending on the size of vehicle, a professional full wrap can take up to 6 to 12 hours.

We start with a thorough cleaning with paint cleaners and alcohol. Any scratch, dig, or piece of dirt will show through the vinyl so its very important that you as well as our installers make sure everything is set to go before the vinyl is applied.

A benefit of wrapping a car in good condition is that when one removes the vinyl down the road, the original paint will be in top condition. The vinyl wrap protects the paint from (further) scratches, rock chips, and fading from the sun.

Depending on the car, the installers will begin the process in different ways. The hardest parts are the bumpers, so sometimes an installer will start there to get them done first. Or an installer will start with the hood, then move to the roof. To avoid creating seams, the installer have to look at the vehicle and see where the breaks and lines appear.

Once planned out, the installer will use a utility knife to cut the vinyl into sections that will cover individual body panels. They then tape it on or use magnets to hold it in place while they remove the vinyl’s backing paper to expose the adhesive.

Once the adhesive is exposed, its time to stick the vinyl onto the center of the body panel, or start on one side. It then is smoothed out with by hand, and/or a squeegee. During this process, the installer will stretch the vinyl to fit over curves or reposition it.

Next, the installer will cut off the excess edges with a utility knife.

Finally, once all the pieces are placed and applied onto the vehicle, the installer will then go back and look over each panel. The installer will look for any imperfections (bubbles, lifts, etc.) and correct them.

And then BAAM, your vehicle is ready to hit the road!
